Let’sEncryptからメールが来たので対処してみた

コンビニのサラダチキンにわさび醤油をつけてつまみにしています。

先日、このサイトのSSLで利用したLet’sEncryptさんからこんなメールが届きました。

Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in 10 days (on 22 May 19 14:55 +0000). Please make sure to renew your certificate before then, or visitors to your website will encounter errors.

We recommend renewing certificates automatically when they have a third of their
total lifetime left. For Let's Encrypt's current 90-day certificates, that means
renewing 30 days before expiration. See

ふむふむなるほど。

私はTOEIC400点の実力があるので、容易に内容を理解できました。

つまり、あと10日くらいで証明書が切れちゃうから更新してねーという内容です。
google翻訳がそういったので間違いありません。

というわけで、証明書を更新したのでそれのメモです。

証明書更新方法

これ、ネットで調べると、

/usr/local/certbot-auto renew

を実行するだけです。簡単でしょ？ってだいたい書いてあるのですが、伊藤くんの場合はこのcertbot-autoが存在しませんでした。

これがもうあるよって人は、これ実行すれば終わりです。おつです。

なのでこれをインストールするとこから。コマンドは以下。

cd /usr/local
sudo git clone https://github.com/certbot/certbot

これでcertbot-autoが入りました。

その後、

/usr/local/certbot/certbot-auto renew

を実行して、更新が完了しました。(なぜかlocalとcertbot-autoの間にcertbotが挟まってしまいましたが)

以下のようなメッセージが表示されれば多分大丈夫です。

Requesting to rerun ./certbot/certbot-auto with root privileges…
 Creating virtual environment…
 Installing Python packages…
 Installation succeeded.
 Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
 
 Processing /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/www.itoukun.com.conf
 
 Cert not yet due for renewal
